The 375 t displacement vessels have a LOA of 162 ft (49.5 m), beam of 30 ft (9.2 m) and draft of 8.2 ft (2.5 m). The original Svetlyak Class (10410) was designed in the 1980s, has been updated and is available with a more offensive weapon suite including missiles and torpedoes as the 10411 version.
The propulsion arrangement comprises three Zvezda M520 supercharged diesel engines, each with rated output of 4,828 hp (3,600 kW) at 1,900 rpm. These unique engines are of a radial (star) configuration with 56 cylinders arranged in seven banks of eight cylinders and consequently offer a very high power density. The total power of 14,484 hp (10,800 kW) gives a top speed of 30 kn: at a cruising speed of 13 kn the range is 2,200 nm.
